Shopping Milan, Italy - Fashion district
Shopping Milan, Italy - Fashion district
start our journey from the heart of luxury shopping in Milan: Via Montenapoleone, Via della Spiga and Via Sant'Andrea, elegant streets that together with Via Manzoni, Via Santo Spirito and Via Borgospesso bordering the famous fashion Quadrilateral.
In this area one of the most prestigious in the world, boutiques and showrooms with minimalist design and high-tech one another seamlessly, in a triumph of consumerist stimuli to which only a select few can answer. Quadrilateral in the luxury, the real and extremely expensive, is the protagonist. Dazzling jewelry created by the most prestigious brands, apparel and accessories as objects of desire to own and show off, shoes as art.
therefore stem from the most famous of all the ways of fashion: Via Montenapoleone.
Here are, among others, the atelier-showrooms of: Gucci, Versace, Salvatore Ferragamo, Fratelli Rossetti, Etro, Loro Piana, Luis Vuitton, Prada, Valentino, Cartier, Tanino Crisci.
• In Via Sant'Andrea, Via Montenapoleone Cross include: Chanel, Fendi, Armani, Moschino, Kenzo, Cesare Paciotti, Hermés, Prada and Trussardi.
• Via Sant'Andrea crosses the famous Via della Spiga, where shine the windows of the D & G, Krizia, Sergio Rossi, Gianfranco Ferré, Bottega Veneta, Tod's, Genny, Prada, Bulgari, Chopard.
• With regard to the equally elegant Via Manzoni, remember paragraph 31 Space Armani, multi-concept store, Giorgio Armani, where you can admire the Emporio Armani showrooms, Armani casa, and Armani flowers, you can remarry while sipping an aperitif at the Emporio Armani Café, or to grant the privilege of a dinner in the restaurant Nobu, prepared by the best Japanese chef in the last 10 years: Nobuyuki Matsuhisa who, along with Robert de Niro, founded the restaurant chain.
For purchases more at hand, we point out four major city arteries, are almost entirely dedicated to shopping: Corso Vittorio Emanuele, Corso Buenos Aires, Via Torino and Corso di Porta Ticinese.
• Corso Vittorio Emanuele connects Piazza Duomo and Piazza San Babila, and it begins with Rinascente Monument shopping area, which owes its name to Gabriele d'Annunzio. In Corso Vittorio Emanuele alternate showcases sophisticated brands such as Max Mara, Moreschi, Bruno Magli and Pollini, a much more mass brands like H & M, Zara and Furla.
• Corso Buenos Aires, one of the longest shopping streets in Europe, connects Porta Venezia to Piazzale Loreto, is even more commercial: among others include: Timberland, Mandarina Duck, Benetton, Kookai, Nara shirts.
• The closer you get to the Navigli area, the temple of street style, most of the stores change the scenario. Ticinese, the continuation of Via Torino that leads up to Piazza XXIV Maggio, is the place for "alternative" purchases: Custo Barcelona, \u200b\u200bDiesel, Miss Sixteen, Gas and Fornarina clothing stores are used for bizarre items Home, boutique clothing and accessories made by hand with silk and other fabrics.

From 21 November 2006 to December 31, 2007
Milan and avant-garde writers.
In the same building of the Academy (which, until 700 was the headquarters of the Jesuits in Milan, and it is great) you can visit the Pinacoteca Nazionale di Brera, one of the most important public art galleries in the world. There are masterpieces by Raphael (The Marriage of the Virgin), Mantegna (the dead Christ) and Piero della Francesca (Pala Federico da Montefeltro), and often excellent temporary exhibitions. A
Brera are both churches of centuries past, as the church of the Carmine, and many of the newer buildings in Milan, the new Teatro Strehler is one example.
