The Institute was founded in 1925 as a non-profit corporation under the name of Vittorio Emanuele III National Institute for the Study and Treatment of Cancer. The first units were opened in 1928. In 1969 he was a finished piece for inpatient, outpatient and diagnostic services and treatment in 1984 and a second block for inpatient services. By Metro line 2 (green) subway, get off at "Piola" or "Lambrate" From here you can reach the Institute on foot or use the trolley 93 and get off at Piazzale Gorini.
